Harris for President

Following a historic candidate switch just 107 days before Election Day, I joined the Harris campaign as Head Writer for Digital Paid Media, tasked with developing a voice for a $200 million+ digital ads program from scratch.

I led creative production on a multi-million dollar battleground mobilization program aimed at getting voters to the polls, including a series of ads with celebrity validators.

When Aretha Franklin's estate granted us the rights to use her iconic anthem "Think," I scripted a rallying cry spot to highlight the Vice President's commitment to fighting for our fundamental rights and freedoms

And when Donald Trump insulted the city of Detroit, I produced a rapid response "clapback" spot that aired during that weekend's NFL games and received a surge of positive, local earned media

I wrote over one hundred additional scripts, including persuasion spots targeted at swing voters in battleground states, celebrity endorsement videos, and experimental selfie-style social spots.

Though the campaign came up short, we cut Donald Trump's vote share by 4.5% in the states where our ads ran, helping limit Democratic losses in the Senate and hold our numbers in the House. 

The fight is far from over.
